Ruth S. Padfield

Ruth was born December 16, 1930 in Maine. After receiving her master’s degree in education at USM, she moved to Florida and was an elementary school teacher at Southwest Elementary School until 2001 when she retired. She is predeceased by her husband, Captain William Padfield and her daughter Joan Padfield. She is survived by her granddaughters, Bethany Wade, Amber Wade Dent her husband, Robert Dent and her 2 great grandsons Carter Dent and Jackson Dent. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 10 am with services following at 11 am at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33801. Interment will be Monday, June 7, 2021, at 11 am at Florida National Cemetery.
