Sandra Faye Spinks

Sandra Faye Spinks, age 80, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Sandra was born on May 4, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri. She lived a life marked by love and a caring spirit that touched all who knew her.

Sandra will be remembered for her warm heart and gentle spirit, Her kindness, love, and caring presence made a lasting difference in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Baker Layfield. Sandra is survived by her son, Michael Hammons (Renee) of Lakeland, Florida; grandsons Aaron Hammons, and Adam Hammons (Cortney) and great-grandson Maverick Hammons. She is also survived by her daughter, Michelle Joyce of Winter Haven, Florida; grandchildren Devon Joyce, Lizzie Miller (James), Tory Joyce, and Abigail Joyce; and great-granddaughter Juliette Miller.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that her love and guidance will remain in their hearts forever.
