Susan Sebree

Susan H. Sebree, 79, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025. Born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Susan lived a life defined by love, strength, and grace.

She was married to her beloved husband, Bill W. Sebree, for 58 years—a partnership built on deep devotion and shared purpose of raising a close-knit-loving family.

Known affectionately as “Swan Sister” by family and friends. Susan was a gifted decorator, gardener, quilter, cross stitcher and enjoyed painting. Susan’s legacy lives on through her family and the beauty she brought into the world with every thoughtful gesture. Her warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband Bill; daughter Patricia Ames (Mike); son Daniel H. Sebree (Caryn); and grandchildren Madalyn Ames South (Case), Elizabeth Ames Knox (Carson), Jacob Sebree, Ella Sebree, and Jillian Sebree. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and LeNette Harris, her sister Jane H. Harris and her brother Jack Harris.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, at 2pm, at College Heights United Methodist Church, 942 South Blvd., Lakeland, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Susan can be made to: College Heights United Methodist Church, 942 South Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33803.
