Thomas Alfred Williams

Thomas “Tom” Alfred Williams, 79, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, surrounded by his wife and children.

He was born on July 23, 1943, in Berlin, Wisconsin to the late Clarence and Adeline Williams.

Tom was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and University of Florida.

He was the owner of Williams & Williams, Inc which opened in 1969 and became incorporated in 1970.

Tom won the Small Business of the Year Award in 1990.

He loved to travel, cruise with his wife, and was dedicated to his family and his life’s work of growing his business.

Tom was kindhearted, hardworking, and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister.

Tom is survived by his wife, Sharlott Williams of 33 years, 1 son; 4 daughters; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 11 am with a service to follow at 12 pm at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328, South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801.
