**In Loving Memory of Tracy Jones**
**Queen of the Castle, Devoted Animal Whisperer, and Photographer of Magic**
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the unexpected passing of Tracy Jones on May 27, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 55.
Tracy leaves behind a world that’s a little dimmer without her light, and a family she loved. She is survived by her devoted husband and favorite fellow adventurer, Mike Jones, her loving parents, Ken and Carolyn Dean of Jacksonville, Florida, and her brother, James "Jamie” Dean and his wife Jessica, along with his daughter, Taylor Dean. Tracy also leaves behind her cherished daughters, Michelle Rice (husband Mike) and Emilee Brown (husband Jake), and her five treasured grandchildren: Lyna, Brody, Baylor, Madison, and Logan — each of whom brought immeasurable joy and pride to her life.
Tracy's heart also beat for her animal companions — her beloved fur-babies, including two dogs and six cats, who had her heart and her lap on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tracy believed no house was truly a home without a bit of fur and a lot of love.
Tracy’s passion for Disney was unmatched, her soul practically sparkled with pixie dust. A true believer in the magic, Tracy found peace and wonder in the world Walt built. To know her was to be pulled into her magical world — where Halloween was *not so scary*, Christmas was *very merry*, and every moment had the potential to be a memory worth capturing. Disney was her sanctuary — her own personal fairy tale, where dreams were not only wished but lived.
Tracy saw the world through a unique lens, capturing moments of whimsy, wonder, and quiet beauty with her photography. From sweeping landscapes to playful animals, she had a gift for seeing beauty in the smallest things — and making you stop to see it too.
A lifelong animal lover, Tracy held a special place in her heart for all creatures great and small. She rooted for the underdog, championed the forgotten, and gave every stray a chance.
Tracy's vibrant spirit, boundless kindness, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
A visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM on Monday, 6/2/2025 at Heath Funeral Chapel in Lakeland, FL. Everyone who ever shared a laugh, a memory, or a magic moment with Tracy is welcome to come celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, please honor her memory by donating to the Disney Conservation Fund — or better yet, bring a live plant. (She’d much rather see something growing than wilting.)
And remember: life is short. Take the photo. Hug your pets. Wear the Mickey ears. And believe in a little magic — Tracy always did.
