William G. (Jerry) Johnson, 80 Lineman Supervisor LAKELAND--William G. (Jerry) Johnson, 80 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, from cancer. He was born in Reform, AL, on May 21, 1934. Jerry came to Lakeland 26 years ago after retiring from Florida Power & Light as Lineman Supervisor with 32 years in Miami, FL and Arcadia, FL. Jerry, also, served our country in the Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Johnson, of Lakeland, FL. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Klerk, Henderson, NV; sons, Brad Johnson, Miami, FL; Greg Glenn, Nashville, TN; and Gregg Johnson, Deltona, FL; sister, Carolyn Bell, Dallas, TX; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Mosaic.
