Dear Bush Family, From one firefighter family to another, we want to express our deepest sympathies. During difficult times such as these, we find It comforting to reflect on cherished memories and Bible promises. A few of our favorite verses are found at Revelation 21: 3, 4 and Psalm 34:18. These verses are very comforting and we hope that you find a few quiet moments to be able to look these up in your own Bible. We know these verses will bring as much comfort to you as they have to us. With Deepest Sympathy, Amanda Jeanne and Family

The world has lost a fine man with the passing of Smiley. I knew him for over 51 years. We took rookie training at the LFD in 1962. Ethel, we all loved your husband. He will be missed by you and the children, but remember him in his best moments of life. He will always remain in your hearts. Time will heal the pain of the parting, but you will always keep the memories of time spent together.

Our condolences to Aunt Ethel , Sonja, Anthony, and family. I will always remember those trips to the houseboat and the time he broke his foot while riding a mini bike and that still didnt stop him from fishing. I will always remember that he took the time to teach me the word ( confiscate ) after I shot holes in his mail box with my BB gun. ( After he cooled down he did give my BB gun back ) but I think of him everytime I hear that word.Thank you for the good times and thanks for the memories

My condolences to Ethel, Anthony, Sonja and the extended Bush family. Smiley, my mentor and accomplice, has left us for a better place. He was like a father to me that Anthony never had. \"This ain\'t no lie\", he will be sorely missed and always in my memories.
