Lakeland – Phillipa Yant passed away May 19, 2013 from complications of a broken leg. She was born in Montreal, Canada on September 4, 1916 but spent most of her life in Jacksonville and Lakeland.
Phil was a beautiful woman and remained so throughout her life. She was known for her grace, dignity, and kindness and was universally loved.

She served in the United States Navy during World War II. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Toy worked in the Library at Winston Elementary School before retiring.

Mrs. Famularo died Sunday May 12, in Pinellas Park of Heart Failure.
She was born July 17, 1932 in Brattleboro, Vt.
Mrs. Famularo was a singer; she sang in many of the Italian Restaurants in the Tampa area, she also spent years volunteering at Bay Pines and James Haley Veterans Hospitals.
She is survived by Son, Tony Famularo and daughter Teresa Chapman, and her sister Rosa DiCesare.
